Myth is a series of tales, true or false, based on a religion and of the elements. An ancient idea that explains the world now, stories with morals that give its people an idea of way they exist, a purpose. An example of a myth is the story of Hercules.
Hero is someone with special abilities and characteristics, a founder of something new, new age, new city, a new way of life, models for human behavior they must make decisions either good or evil but for the common good. An example of a hero is Atalanta .
Hero journey is a road of trials, battles, obstacles, and on the way the hero will experience a transformation and a boon and final battle. An example of a hero journey is Hercules.
Universal is a representative of every man with a special characteristic that sets him apart. An example of universal is yin-yang, good vs. evil.
Archetype is a new start, foundation, growth, kind, or an original model. An example would be the earth and heavens being split from an egg.
Cyclical is a reoccurring cycle that turns, repeats, rotates and can almost be predicted. An example of cyclical is the hero cycle in the myth of Hercules.
Duality is a quality of opposites, two things existing within a whole. An example of duality is yin yang.
Life from death is a sacrificial death, death that gives life and is renewed. An example of life from death is Pan Gu.
Matriarchal is the foundation of female power, the mother rules. An example of matriarchal power is mother earth.
Patriarchal is the foundation of the male power, father rules. An example of patriarchal is father sky.
Sacrifice is to give up your life for something that you believe in. An example of sacrifice is Hercules.
