How The Buffalo Hunt Began
How the buffalo hunt began was a very scary Idea. Even though buffalo were eating menthe magpie and hawk were on the peoples side. For this reason they decided to help the people overcome their enemy so they challenged the fastest buffalo to a race for the tittle of who gets to eat who. Afterward they began and not soon after they began the buffalo had a strong lead on the two birds of pray. But the magpie and hawk were not so easily defeated. Moreover they knew that if they waited until the end to beat the buffalo it would be an easy win. They just wanted the buffalo to believe he was winning so that they could come up from behind and surprise it. Along with being beaten the buffalo wished to have one last piece of human flesh to give to their young. They took this and kept it under their chest below the throat. However this is the reason that the people did not eat this part of the buffalo because it was considered human flesh.
